Freelance Project Engineer (m/w/d) 12 month contract
For a world leading food production company in the Bremen region were currently looking for a Freelance Project Engineer. The role will be a 12 month freelance contract.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage mediumsized and complex projects and optimize existing technical units in collaboration with the supervisor.
- Work closely with the technical office workshops production departments and energy and quality management teams.
- Prepare and analyze various technical statistics.
- Consider energy consumption in all aspects:
- Plan and evaluate more energyefficient use of plant components.
- Select the most energyefficient system components and ensure Hygienic Design.
- Evaluate and consider energyefficient alternative products during procurement.
- Act as a contact and negotiation partner for suppliers.
- Prepare and monitor project budgets.
- Plan and oversee modifications and new installations.
- Create drawings and documentation for projects such as for approval requests.
- Coordinate and supervise onsite construction work by contracted installation firms.
- Document projects including materials for commissioning training maintenance and legal records.
- Identify and resolve quality or capacity constraints in the project through appropriate measures.
- Handle special tasks as directed by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Successfully completed a degree in Process Engineering or an equivalent qualification with relevant work experience.
- Three to five years of relevant professional experience preferably in an industrial or production environment.
- A project management certificate at least IPMAD and a minimum of three successfully completed projects.
- Reliability and readiness to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good written and spoken German and English skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Willingness to learn and high motivation.
- Advantageous: Good knowledge of CAD programs.
- Handson mentality.
