Job Description

Youll work with our Executive team to drive bold HR strategies spark a strong culture and help incredible people thrive while managing a lovely team of four who are just as passionate about people as you are!

Exploring the role

As our People & Culture Manager youll partner with the Executive team to deliver a modern HR framework that supports strong people practices and a thriving workplace culture. This pivotal role is all about creating an environment where great people feel valued supported and motivated to excel.

Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and deliver strategic HR initiatives aligned with the CoAct Strategic Plan in partnership with the Executive team
  • Act as a key link between operational leaders support teams and partners to drive high performance and best practice
  • Provide HR consulting support to identify opportunities for improvement build business cases and implement effective solutions
  • Oversee HR policies and procedures ensuring compliance with employment law and alignment with strategy
  • Lead core HR cycles (performance reviews remuneration surveys) with support from the HR Consultant
  • Advise on payroll matters supporting the Payroll Officer with escalations vendor management and award interpretation
  • Champion safety and wellbeing initiatives ensuring compliance with local legislation and fostering a healthy work environment
  • Manage support and develop the People & Culture team to meet team and individual goals
  • Oversee HR operations including systems records policies position descriptions and reporting

Note: This is a remote role with occasional office visits and attendance required at all leadership meetings.

Skills and experience

  • Solid experience across all things HR including employee and industrial relations
  • Proven leadership or business partnering experience with a knack for building strong working relationships
  • Broad HR skills covering systems and processes recruitment learning and development performance management change and safety
  • Experience driving organisational culture to the next level
  • Comfortable working in a flexible fastpaced team with strong communication and customer service skills
