This position is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the preparation and operation of Berklees Aspire: FiveWeek Music Performance Intensive. Aside from performing office duties that are crucial to the programs success (preparing charts delivering schedules etc. you will have the chance to work closely with Berklee faculty and potential Berklee students in a variety of oncampus settings (assisting with elective classes occasionally sitting in on ensemble classes).Office of Summer Programs satellite Aspire: FiveWeek Music Performance Intensive Office 30 hours per week)
Pay Rate: $22/hr
Capabilities:
Computer literacy in Mac PC required
Background in writing/scoring music using notation (Finale) software required
Customer service background excellent communications skills strongly preferred
Experience with CD duplication and audio editing technology preferred
Competent skills as a rhythm section instrumentalist helpful
General clerical skills
Strong organizational skills
Duties will include:
Preparing copying organizing written music to be used as teaching materials
Preparing and duplicating CDs to be used as teaching materials
Attending to the needs of program participants their parents FiveWeek faculty and related staff
Provide support as instrumentalist in programrelated ensemble classes as needed (if possible)
General clerical support
