PC Support services is looking for a creative marketing savvy student with moderate technology experience to serve in a dual role as both a Social Media Consultant for Seton Halls Esports Team and the Lab Consultant for our Esports Lab.
Duties and responsibilities outlined below:
Support the ESports teams to develop and implement outreach and promotional campaigns to boost brand engagement. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assisting with the design and of social media campaigns
Submit events onto SHU Planner.
Promote events.
Report SHU Esports news (updates upcoming matches and postmatch game score highlights etc.
Work as a member of a team to create social media posts and promote community engagement across social media accounts (Twitter YouTube Twitch Facebook IG etc.
Track social media engagement to identify highperforming ideas and campaigns for scalability.
Support esports teams at live and online events via graphics and posts.
Take pictures and record videos during matches and other events to be developed into content for social media sites.
Complete other digital media projects as assigned.
Support everyday functioning of Esports Lab. Responsibilities include but are not limited to
Esports Lab Consultant provides excellent customer service technology assistance and facility preparation for instruction gaming coaching and collaboration.
Interacts with lab patrons and aids endusers by answering questions and troubleshooting technical issues.
Prepares lab for games/classroom instructions as requested is willing to open/close the facility and has the availability to work nights and weekends.
Must have a basic knowledge of computer games be qualified in resolving basic technology and gaming issues. Must also be familiar with standard software and hardware.
NO Federal Work Study eligibility not required
Must be a current Seton Hall student
Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems MS Office. Knowledge of SPSS and other software used on the SHU campus is also useful.
Possess an understanding of Esports eco system (games platforms peripheral devices esports and gaming trends etc.
Basic knowledge of popular social media platforms social media and Esports channels/sites
Should possess some basic photoediting and videoediting skills.
Familiarity working with database applications and querying information.
Be a creative and detailoriented individual capable of working collaboratively and taking initiative.
Possess strong written and verbal communication skills along with proficient organizational and problemsolving skills.
Possess past customer service experience.
Other Physical Demands: Carrying reams of paper as needed to stock printers.
