Job Description

Firstmark Services is the operational division for consumer loan servicing within Nelnet Diversified Services. We provide innovative and flexible financial solutions that enable our clients success and deliver a positive experience to their customers. Maintain compliance standards through the review and completion of various tasks. This includes system processing and reconciliation. Participate in meetings and represent the area on committees and project teams. Serve as a mentor and resource for management and staff.

Must reside within a 60mile radius of Lincoln NE or Brownsville TX.

Hourly Pay Rate: $13.50

Job Responsibilities:

  • Commit to Performance Based Organization (PBO) & Easy to Do Business with (ETDBW) philosophy.
  • Performs loan documentation reviews for consumer loans based on the programs guidelines and regulatory standards.
  • Communicates with team members supervisor lenders and customers in an effective manner to facilitate the appropriate exchange of information necessary to meet documentation requirements.
  • Will be responsible for communicating professionally directly with our lender clients.
  • Will be responsible for tracking and processing tasks in a timely manner.
  • Identify trends and problems and proactively take steps to resolve.
  • Will be working directly with customers to guide them through the processes supported; Forbearances SCRA Military Benefits Repayment Plans Death Notifications Disability Notifications.
  • Research and resolve complex and unique accounts.
  • Work with internal and external customers; resolving issues.
  • Work on special projects as assigned by leadership team.
  • Work with team to meet and exceed department goals and objectives.
  • Research and provide support for audit related requests.

EDUCATION:
High school degree or equivalent required.

EXPERIENCE:
1 2 years customer service experience and/or general work experience preferred.
Knowledge of Loan Servicing and/or Originations systems preferred.
