Salary: $58000 to $63000 depends on experience

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:Bachelors degree in Industrial Safety or related discipline preferred.
Experience:Minimum of three years safety experience in manufacturing/construction environment highly desirable.
Certifications:Certified OSHA 501 or 500 trainer preferred.
Skills:
Must be a selfstarter who is technology savvy with strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills. Must be organized and able to manage logistics of projects and/or programs. Must have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from supervisors clients customers and the public.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
2. Assist in defining shortrange and longrange goals in assigned programs.
3. Keep informed of and interpret laws regulations statutes rules and policies affecting safety programs.
4. Maintain professional competence through participation in professional educational and leadership activities and keep apprised of instructional/technological changes in safety training for business and industry. Keep apprised of trends and changes in business and industry safety issues.
5. Develop relationships with clients through training and connect them to other areas of the school.
6. Identify equipment needs and work with supervisor to ensure all necessary training equipment and supplies are available and in working order.
7. Assist in creating consistent quality in facilities.
8. Assist in maintaining a program of public relations that serves to promote understanding maintain a positive morale and keep the public informed regarding Workforce Development activities needs and successes.
9. Assist in upholding and enforcing the policies and procedures of the Board of Education.
10. Prepare and submit reports and other documentation as required by the leadership at Autry Technology Center.
11. Participate in administrative staff meetings and other school meetings and functions as required.
12. Be neat in appearance and work with people.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.
