As a Licensed Psychologist Director you will provide oversight and direction of clinical services for the habilitation rehabilitation and social development of delinquent youth in Loysville Youth Development Center. You will analyze evaluate and continuously develop clinical treatment programs as well as supervise supervisory and nonsupervisory employees. You will also direct clinical treatment services interpret policies and regulations implement best practices and set minimum standards. This role requires effective communication skills to consult with psychiatrists physicians and professional staff concerning diagnostic evaluation and therapeutic treatment programs. In addition you will participate in contract negotiations facilitate clinical training sessions and attend juvenile court and other hearings as necessary.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Fulltime employment 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday Friday with a 30minute lunch. Your schedule may change based on operational needs.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Licensed Psychologist Manager(Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Two years as a Licensed Psychologist MH or a Psychologist Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title as determined by the Office of Administration); one year of which must have been in a supervisory or administrative capacity;or
- Two years of experience as a licensed professional psychologist in the treatment of inmates or individuals with mental illness and/or mental ation one yearof which must have been in a supervisory or administrative capacity.
Special Requirements:
- You must have possession of a current license to practice psychology as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of psychology or possession of a current license to practice psychology as issued by another state with licensure requirements acceptable to the Board. Pennsylvania licensure must be obtained within one year of employment
Other Requirements:
- You must be willing to accept employment at Loysville Youth Development Center and commute to this location in Perry County.
- PA residency requirementis currently waived for this title.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
- Under the Law a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including but not limited to PA State Police clearance PA Child Abuse history clearance and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
