Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Body Builder to join our team in Narangba Queensland. The ideal candidate will be trade qualified with experience in manufacturing and production specifically in building vehicle bodies. The Vehicle Body Builder will be responsible for constructing repairing and customizing vehicle bodies according to specifications.

Skills:

Trade qualification in vehicle body building or a related field (would consider associated industry trades including fabricators boat builders boilermakers caravan builders etc)

Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Experience working with various materials such as steel aluminum fiberglass etc.

Attention to detail and precision in workmanship

Responsibilities:

Constructing vehicle bodies according to blueprints and specifications

Repairing damaged or faulty vehicle bodies

Customizing vehicle bodies based on client requests

Installing components such as doors windows hoods etc.

Ensuring quality control standards are met throughout the production process

Qualifications:

Trade qualification in vehicle body building or a related field

Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry

Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work independently or as part of a team
