Visa Technology & Operations LLC a Visa Inc. company needs a Sr. Site Reliability Engineer (multiple openings) in Austin TX to
- Provide 24/7 support to critical application pipelines running in Big Data Technology Stack.
- Develop required Audits and alerts to detect problems from real time dataflow.
- Develop Superset Graphs for data visualization as per user requirements.
- Enhance the existing application based on the User requirement.
- Identify improvement opportunities and build Automation as well as engage in performance tuning.
- Analyze code understand business rules and trace data while following the process flow to investigate datarelated issues.
- Work closely with all stakeholders jointly on key deliverables ensuring production scalability and stability.
- Work on various automation processes for monitoring Dataflow.
- Position reports to the Employers Austin Texas office and may allow for partial telecommuting.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Information Systems or related field followed by 5 years of progressive postbaccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a site reliability engineer or software engineerrelated occupation.
- Alternatively Masters degree in Computer Science Computer Information Systems or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a site reliability engineer or software engineerrelated occupation.
- Java or J2EE.
- Python.
- Hadoop.
- Kafka.
- Big Data Security Features (Kerberos & TLS/SSL).
- CI/CD pipeline to deploy code changes.
- Linux or Unix OS Services.
- Shell scripting.

Worksite: Austin TX
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 23 set days a week (determined by leadership/site) with a general guidepost of being in the office 50 or more of the time based on business needs.
Travel Requirements: This position does not require travel.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk communicate in person and by telephone frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $134285.00 USD to $164100.00 USD per year which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on jobrelated factors which may include knowledge skills experience and location. In addition this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
