Job Description
The position as IT Engineer Smart factory Operations contains the following tasks and responsibilities:
- Ensure operations for all Smart factory solutions such as the Manufacturing Systems (MES e.g. SAP DMC) Manufacturing Service Bus (MSB) IoT Edge Technology Machine Data Acquisition and Recipe Management System
- Offer 2nd level support of business solutions in the area of Manufacturing IT Applications (e.g. SAP ME/DMC Manufacturing Service BUS Mixing Solutions IoT Edge)
- Support/consult the central key user and the local key users in the plants for all Smart factory solutions
- Drive active Incident system monitoring
- Coordinate system upgrades and patches
- Support the digital transformation of the business with digitalization solutions
- Support the regional rollout of the Smart factory solutions
- Overtake the responsibility to coordinate all infrastructure and other issue related activities
- Implement and refine IT best practices in the relevant areas: project management portfolio management service management
- Foster collaboration and cooperation with other teams and competent centers
- Support to steer and control external providers to ensure optimal worldwide service provisioning
- Member of a global 24x7 Team
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Industrial Engineering or related field or a comparable qualification
- Relevant IT working experience (at leats 3 years)
- Ideally a combination of IT knowhow and knowledge of manufacturing industry and productionrelated processes
- Enthusiasm for Smartfactory and Industry 4.0
- Knowledge of Manufacturing Systems (MES) desirable preferred SAPDMC or SAPME
- Knowledge in ITSM such as incident change and problem management
- Businessfluent English language skills written and spoken
- Excellent communication skills and structured work style
- Embracing teamwork by supporting each other
