Infrastructure Management: Oversee and maintain all network infrastructure IP cameras and internet connectivity ensuring optimal uptime and functionality across our head office cruise ships and sister restaurants in Cairo.
System Maintenance & Support: Conduct regular reviews and maintenance of all IT systems including our recently migrated cloud services and on-premise industry-specific PMS (Opera Cloud Symphony). Provide essential user support to all team members.
New Technology & Service Adoption: Lead the adoption and integration of new technologies and services particularly those aligning with Accors global standards. This includes digital transformation projects with an emphasis on AI adoption.
Cybersecurity & Data Management: Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures in accordance with mandated guidelines ensuring data security and integrity.
Procurement & Vendor Management: Manage the procurement of IT hardware and software overseeing inventory and nurturing strong relationships with IT vendors.
Custom Application Development: Utilize no-code or low-code development platforms to create custom-made applications and tech-enabled processes that address operational needs and enhance guest experiences.
Onboarding & Training: Facilitate IT-related onboarding for new team members ensuring they are proficient in using our systems.
Troubleshooting & On-Site Support: Travel frequently to our cruise ships (for a few days at a time) to troubleshoot complex issues perform essential maintenance and implement new IT initiatives.
Reporting & Compliance: Prepare comprehensive reports on IT compliance incident management and inventory ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Requirements
Experience: 5-7 years of progressive IT experience with a significant portion gained within the hospitality or service-oriented industry.
Technical Proficiency: Strong software-related skills including:
o Network management and administration.
o Proficiency in no-code or low-code development platforms.
o Experience with cloud services and migrations.
o Familiarity with hospitality-specific software such as Opera Cloud and Symphony.
o Understanding of cybersecurity principles and data protection.
Problem-Solving: Exceptional creative problem-solving skills are paramount. You must be adept at devising cost-effective user-friendly workarounds and comfortable in creating custom solutions to unique challenges.
Communication: Excellent communication skills are essential to effectively instruct and educate non-technical users explain complex technical issues clearly and collaborate with various stakeholders.
