Job Description

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The Fiscal Technician provides a wide range of clerical and accounting duties involving the application of bookkeeping principles and procedures by recording reviewing and processing financial records for accuracy quality and conformance to accounting standards. This is an advanced bookkeeping position and requires a thorough knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices performance of accurate and detailed arithmetical calculations established fiscal methods polices and regulations. You will have the opportunity to contact providers to discuss any invoicing issues that do not meet established procedures.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Fulltime employment
  • Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM Monday Friday with a 30minute lunch.
  • Telework:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) parttime. Eligibility will be determined after successfully completing three months of continuous regular employment four 4 days in the office one 1 day remote. In order to telework you must have a securely configured highspeed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Youngwood.
  • Salary:In some cases the starting salary may be nonnegotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year as a Fiscal Assistant or three years of work involving the maintenance of fiscal or financial records including one year of responsible work which involves the application of accounting or fiscal principles and practices; and graduation from high school; or
  • One year of experience in maintaining and reviewing fiscal records and an associate degree in accounting or business administration; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
