Job Description
My client a leading food company in the Buffalo NY area is seeking an ElectroMechanical Technician with a strong background in maintaining troubleshooting and repairing of highspeed/highvolume manufacturing equipment. This position is a direct hire with a very competitive starting hourly rate company paid for medical benefits company paid for training/certifications PTO and other great incentives!
Summary : A person highly qualified in the field of troubleshooting and installation of electrical / electronic devices and equipment in a food manufacturing environment.
Perform programming and maintain PLC VFD MMI documentation including but not limited to AllenBradley Software
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Maintains the existing electrical infrastructure and automation applications.
Must be familiar with Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) to log and track work orders and PMs.
Provide automation MES and factory support on assigned shift including development of E&C Technicians capabilities
Minimum Job Requirements: Education/Certifications:
2 Year degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent work experience
Certification or degrees in the area of PLC VFD HMI and all other related training or on the job experience
Experience:
At least 3 years experience as an Industrial Electrician and Instrumentation
Strong background in an industrial environment preferably a food manufacturing facility
12 years troubleshooting PLCs
