IVE is Australias leading holistic marketing company. At IVE CX & Data we combine creative datadriven communications with integrated production and distribution. Our Homebush facility plays a crucial role in delivering highquality printed materials to some of the countrys biggest brandsand now were looking for a Finishing Operator to join the team.
About the Role
As a Finishing Operator youll work handson with folding machines stitchers and guillotines to ensure each job is completed with precision efficiency and pride. Reporting to the Team Leader you will be responsible for setting up operating and maintaining finishing equipment to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
Hours Dayshift 7am 3pm
Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating folding stitching and guillotine machines in line with job specs
- Setting up machinery and producing check samples for approval
- Performing basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance
- Monitoring production to ensure quality output with minimal waste
- Maintaining a clean safe and efficient work area
- Following schedules and communicating effectively with team members
- Participating in toolbox meetings and ongoing training
About You
Were looking for someone who:
- Has experience operating finishing equipment (folders stitchers guillotines)
- Pays close attention to detail and takes pride in producing quality work
- Is mechanically minded and capable of minor machine maintenance
- Works well under pressure and can manage multiple jobs in a shift
- Has good communication skills and works collaboratively in a team
- Is safetyconscious and follows workplace procedures at all times
Previous experience in a print or mailhouse environment is highly regarded.
