The Manager of Project Engineering will be based in Madrid Spain. In this position you will report to the Sr. Manager of Project Engineering.

Here is a glimpse of what youll do

Manage a team of 68 engineers who:

o Provide design and engineering support to develop tracker layouts CAD blocks mechanical sets and full construction plan sets

o Review pertinent site information design inputs and assist in selecting appropriate product types based on site conditions

o Perform topography and hydrology analysis and to determine best tracker placement

Focus on building automation tools to reduce the task turnaround times

Work with structural and geotechnical engineers to conduct value engineering exercises to lower costs on an individual project basis

Coordinate with management in other regions to create and update new product standards design changes and lead department wide initiatives

Prioritize tasks to provide the best support to our internal and external customers

Set team processes and tasking protocols

Developing new Key Performance Indicator (KPI) metrics for team development and workload

Work with cross functional teams within the company on product release changes and new tools

Support direct reports with trainings and conflict resolution

Here is some of what youll need (required)

BS in Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering or related field required

At least 4 years of relevant work experience in the solar industry

Thorough knowledge of drafting standards

Proficiency in MS Office AutoCAD AutoCAD Civil 3D

Strong organizational skills

Strong communication skills

o Major focus on customer communication

Ability to work in a fastpaced environment

Selfmotivated team player

Knowledge of PowerBI
