Position:Anticipated 1.0 Music Teacher
Qualifications:Proper Connecticut teaching certification 049 required. Specific music content knowledge in pitch matching steady beat rhythm pitch and movement. Educational knowledge in sequencing and how young musicians learn. Outstanding instructional skills including the ability to motivate and challenge students and maintain an orderly classroom environment. Demonstrate expertise in music instruction; demonstrate professionalism responsibility and work ethic. The ability to communicate effectively with parents; a positive attitude and a drive for personal excellence and strength in choral vocal and classroom music instruction is preferred.
Responsibilities: Provide general music instruction implementing the elementary music curriculum and utilizing classroom routines and procedures with consistency.
Terms of Employment: Position isto begin on August 14 2025. Salary and benefits in accordance with Agreement Between The Board of Education And The Avon Education Association
