Health and Safety Officer Are you passionate about promoting a positive health and safety culture Were looking for a Health and Safety Officer to join a fantastic manufacturing business. Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager youll play a key role in ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety standards while driving continuous improvement across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation review and maintenance of operational risk assessments.
- Develop and implement safe working procedures considering all relevant hazards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits ensuring corrective actions are taken.
- Investigate accidents/incidents and recommend measures to prevent recurrence.
- Provide training and guidance on key H&S areas (fire safety first aid manual handling etc..
- Carry out COSHH assessments and maintain accurate records.
- Support Directors and Managers in making compliant safetydriven decisions.
What Were Looking For:
- Relevant H&S qualification (NVQ Level 3 / NEBOSH General Certificate).
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and engage staff at all levels.
- A proactive team player with a passion for driving H&S standards.
- Computer literacy (Excel Word PowerPoint).
Desirable (but not essential):
- Previous experience in a Health & Safety role.
- Knowledge of ISO 45001 and experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Membership of IOSH (or similar institution).
