Sr. HR Generalist Home and CommunityBased Services (HCBS)
FullTime Leadership Opportunity
Our HCBS program supports individuals who choose to receive care in their homes or community settingspromoting independence dignity and a higher quality of life. As the HR Generalist for HCBS youll play a vital role in building and supporting the workforce behind this meaningful care. From ensuring regulatory compliance to maintaining clear communication youll help cultivate a positive missiondriven work environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all HR functions related to HCBS
- Provide leadership and guidance to field recruiters
- Ensure caregiver onboarding is complete and compliant with regulations
- Maintain caregiver compliance with annual CHAC standards
- Coordinate regular inservice training on HCBSrelated topics
- Ensure caregivers have access to benefit information and a channel to voice concerns
- Recommend improvements to enhance departmental efficiency and service delivery
- Stay up to date with federal state and local employment laws to ensure full compliance
- Support conflict resolution and promote a respectful inclusive work environment
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field
- 5 years of progressive HR experience preferably in healthcare or senior living
- SHRMCP or PHR certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws
- Exceptional communication interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to manage priorities effectively and handle sensitive information with discretion
- This position will be located in Basking Ridge NJ with required travel to Freehold NJ Whiting NJ and other locations as needed.
