We seek a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in guiding our organization in setting up a SaaS platform for our Enterprise Imaging application.
Location:Mortsel or Ghent Belgium.
Key Responsibilities:
Design develop and maintain cloudbased applications primarily on AWS.
Effectively document and communicate design decisions.
Lead the implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
Architect and deploy scalable secure and reliable cloud infrastructure using a combination of traditional EC2 instances and EKS.
Working within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
Ensure best practices in cloud security cost management and performance optimization.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in the cloud environment.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.
Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
Extensive experience with AWS services (e.g. EC2 S3 RDS EKS Lambda etc..
Proven expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
Competence with SW version control systems and processes.
Experience with automated deployment methods (CI/CD).
Strong understanding of cloud architecture and SaaS models.
Experience with enterprise imaging applications is a plus.
Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
