Job Description
Summary:
Reporting to the Group Sales Manager (Softlines Hardlines or Front EndReceiving) the Task Team Outfitter is responsible for executing visual merchandising plans planograms and flyer/ad sets on the sales floor.
Responsibilities:
- Support visual merchandising for assigned areas including fixture replacement updating signage updating end caps floor moves mannequin dressing and prep and setup of merchandise for ads
- Perform resets for assigned departments when required
- Assist with merchandise purges when assigned
- Perform replenishment tasks across departments including filling folding repackaging sorting facing hanging and locating items
- Assist customers in finding merchandise and making buying decisions when working on the Sales floor during store open hours
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Two or more years experience in merchandising is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A combination of education and experience will be considered with hiring preference given to those with at least six months of merchandising experience
- Ability to pay close attention to detail to ensure accuracy of work
- Ability to use good judgment and logic
- Experience in a related field or outdoor lifestyle
- Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops & Cabelas specific products is an asset
