Were looking for an exceptional Design Lead to join our awardwinning Design Systems squad in London. Youll be a embedded in the team that imagines builds and maintains the system that empowers all of design and engineering at Wise to deliver at scale.
Your mission:
Youll be part of the team that owns and evolves the Design System used by 90 product teams at Wise with a specific focus on Product Systems. Reporting directly to the Design Lead for Product Design Systems youll work closely with them to shape planning prioritisation and the overall direction of the work. Youll be responsible for managing a small number of team members while also contributing handson as a senior IC.
Youll take on complex crosscutting challenges that impact millions of users globallyhelping teams deliver accessible consistent and highquality experiences. Together youll define the strategy and evolve the foundations of a system designed for global scale enabling teams across the business to move faster with confidence.
What youll be doing:
Youll build strong relationships with product teams and develop a deep understanding of our system subscribers needsusing that insight to guide design decisions at scale.
Youll apply and evolve your craft through collaboration while enabling others to grow and deliver great work.
Youll influence direction and priorities within your team championing customercentricity creativity and high design standards.
This role will give you the opportunity to:

Advanced Figma skills. Youve built and maintained scalable systems in Figma keeping them flexible and futureproof.
Inclusive by design. You embed accessibility from the start designing for a wide range of needsnot as an afterthought.
