Boskalis is currently looking for a student to start (Medio 2025 their graduation project with us.
Marine Analyses Department
Boskalis Marine Engineers assist multidisciplinary engineering teams. These engineering teams are responsible for the complete engineering of complex projects from the concept design all the way to the supervision and assistance of the actual phase. The Marine engineering colleagues will commence (project specific): Vessel Motion Analysis Station Keeping Analysis (Anchor Moorings and/or DP) Cable/Pipeline installation Analyses Offshore Lifting Analyses sea fastening calculations stability calculations and many more. In addition to actual calculation assignments Marine Engineers are assisting on producing procedures as Towing manuals Lifting procedures and Installation TaskPlans and many more.
The knowledge on ocean environment behavior of floating structures machinery and (lifting) equipment is of vital importance for the understanding of offshore operations. Therefore Marine Engineering expertise is of great importance for the success of any project.

There is no clearly defined topic but feel free to apply for a graduation thesis at our department and discuss with us what your interest are what drives you and where those interests can be a benefit for Boskalis. In joint cooperation we will work out a tailormade assignment.
