Job Description
This is a remote position.
Are you passionate about travel and helping others plan unforgettable vacations We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Travel Consultant to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people has a love for travel and is eager to grow in a dynamic and rewarding industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and sell domestic and international travel experiences including cruises and landbased vacation packages
Provide exceptional service by building lasting relationships with clients and generating new business through referrals and repeat customers
Prepare and manage all travelrelated documentation including invoices and trip itineraries
Recommend and crosssell relevant products and services to enhance the overall travel experience
Qualifications & Skills:
Must be 18 years of age or older
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong computer proficiency with the ability to navigate multiple programs and websites simultaneously
Prior experience as a travel agent is a plus
Familiarity with computer reservation systems is preferred
Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus
Solid sales acumen and commercial awareness
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and negotiate effectively
Indepth knowledge of domestic and international travel trends
Personal travel experience is highly valued and considered an advantage
