What you will be doing:
- Own and continuously evolve the ServiceNow platform architecture aligning it with business goals and longterm strategy.
- Design and implement custom ServiceNow solutions including apps workflows scripts and integrations.
- Lead integration efforts between ServiceNow and other enterprise or thirdparty systems.
- Perform daily platform administration including user management access control upgrades and security settings.
- Manage incident resolution service requests and troubleshooting to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Monitor system health conduct audits and perform regular maintenance tasks.
- Create and maintain catalogue items reports dashboards and automation tools to boost operational efficiency.
- Ensure alignment with ITSM best practices governance frameworks and internal security policies.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to train users offer support and promote ServiceNow best practices.
- Maintain detailed documentation for workflows configurations and operational processes.
- Stay current with ServiceNow updates enhancements and industry trends and implement relevant improvements.
What our client is looking for:
- A relevant tertiary degree (IT Computer Science etc.
- ServiceNow certifications Certified System Administrator (CSA) Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) Certified Application Developer (CAD) Certified Technical Architect (CTA) etc.
- ITIL Foundation Certification
- 5 years experience in ServiceNow development and administration.
- 5 years working with ITSM platforms including full ticketing and change management life cycles
- 2 years in a ServiceNow Architect role with endtoend design and development responsibility
- Strong expertise across multiple ServiceNow modules (ITSM ITOM ITBM HRSD or CSM)
- Proven experience with custom application development within ServiceNow platform integrations and workflow automation and optimisation.
- Experience collaborating within multinational teams across time zones.
