Job Description
Position: High School Academic Counselor
Employment Type: 0.3 FTE
Start Date August 25 2025
Salary Range: $16500 $28 500 (dependent on education/certificate and experience)
Unity Christian School is located in the picturesque city of Chilliwack British Columbia. We are anticipating a possible need for a dedicated and passionate High School Academic Counselor for theschool year. As an integral member of our team you will play a crucial role in fostering a Christcentered welcoming and engaging learning environment for our students.
The role of the Academic Counselor is to assist with student course selection and
timetabling as well as supporting students in their college and career planning. The Academic Counselor position is 0.3 FTE but can be made into a 1.0 FTE position with additional teaching responsibilities based on the qualifications of the successful candidate.

Each candidate must be:
a committed Christian
a BC certified teacher (or be able to qualify for BC certification)
dedicated to Christian education.

university transcripts if available (copies are acceptable)
