About Our Client
ErthTech Talent is working with Alithic a company that upgrades carbonates and transforms lowvalue feedstocks into cement replacement products used in the concrete industry. Alithics patented process uses direct air capture (DAC) technology to capture CO2 and sequester it into the cement replacement products. They are building a pilot test facility in Madison WI as part of the scaleup process. The technology has been developed at the University of WisconsinMadison.
The Role
This expert position on SCM cement and concrete is responsible for leading the product development commercialization and regulatory approval of our product. The candidate needs to have a clear understanding of the cement and SCM chemistry. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong technical background and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications & Skills
Required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in SCM / cement industry either at an SCM marketer
- Experience in developing nontraditional or alternative SCMs
- Strong knowledge of the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) standards
- Deep understanding of cement / concrete chemistry
- Network in the cement / concrete industry
- Ideally ability to operate lab equipment to carbonate and test feedstocks
Nice to Have
- Associate degree in material sciences or chemistry
- PhD
