Description
- Lead the development and governance of the Vet Nurse Scope of Practice framework across all jurisdictions
- Design and oversee nursing education programs tailored to various career stages and competencies
- Direct the Veterinary Training Centres (VTCs) including program planning educator support marketing and performance evaluation
- Identify new opportunities for growth innovation and revenue within the VTC offering
- Chair the Nurse Advisory Committee and drive the advancement of clinical nursing standards and policies
- Champion the professional development and utilisation of veterinary nurses in-clinic across the network
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation animal ethics and training-related regulatory standards
- Manage operational and financial oversight of all training centre activities
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders external partners and educational institutions
- Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Veterinary Nursing or Technology (postgraduate education in clinical education or leadership is highly desirable)
- Extensive experience in the veterinary industry including clinical leadership or education roles
- Proven ability to manage direct reports and build high-performing purpose-led teams
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- High proficiency in digital tools and reporting systems
- Confidence to lead through ambiguity drive change and advocate for the nursing profession
- Willingness to travel frequently across Australia and New Zealand
