What Youll Do
The Product Operations Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the sales lifecycle by managing the presales product procurement process from quote creation to order placement. This position serves as a key liaison between clients Account Executives (AEs) vendors and the Sales Operations team ensuring fast accurate and seamless quote and order processing. By providing dedicated operational support the Product Operations Specialist enables Account Executives to focus on client relationship management and revenue generation.
Your role responsibilities will include the following:
Own the quoting process for products and netnew SmartNet renewals ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
Process client and internal quotes into formal orders; responsible for importing orders into Great Plains (Burwoods accounting system).
Collaborate directly with vendors and distribution partners for cost negotiations order logistics managing billing/shipping and pricing terms)
Track and manage unshipped orders; assist Client Services Associates (CSAs) with backorder reporting.
Support Accounts Payable by troubleshooting and resolving invoice discrepancies related to product procurement.
Respond to expedited shipping and lead time requests to ensure timely fulfillment and client satisfaction.
Create basic configurations and estimates in Cisco Commerce Workspace (CCW) as needed.
Serve as a point of contact for productrelated inquiries in the absence of the assigned Account Executive.
Qualifications :
Who You Are
3 years of experience in inside sales client service order processing or logisticspreferably in the technology industry.
Bachelors degree in Business Technology or a related field.
Proven ability to thrive in a highvolume fastpaced sales environment.
Highly organized with strong time management skills and attention to detail.
Selfmotivated and proactive with excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
Technically proficient with strong skills in Microsoft Office and other business systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly across all levels of the organization and with external partners.
Teamoriented mindset with a willingness to step in and support as needed.

The Perks
The Compensation packages at Burwood Group are based on various factors unique to each candidate including work location skillset experience qualifications market conditions and other jobrelated reasons. The estimated salary range for this role is $55000 to $65000. This role may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance. Sales roles have an additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement.
