Overview:
As a Data Analyst with us youll play a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable insights. Your work will directly impact strategic decisions and business growth.
Responsibilities:
Data mining or extracting usable data from valuable data sources
Gather and document client requirements serving as a liaison between business and Data Warehousing team.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into datadriven solutions.
Conduct adhoc analyses to support various business initiatives and projects.
Using machine learning tools to select features create and optimize classifiers
Carrying out preprocessing of structured and unstructured data
Enhancing data collection procedures to include all relevant information for developing analytic systems
Processing cleansing and validating the integrity of data to be used for analysis
Analyzing large amounts of information to find patterns and solutions
Developing prediction systems and machine learning algorithms
Presenting results in a clear manner
Propose solutions and strategies to tackle business challenges
Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of data analysis processes and tools.
Requirements
Bachelor s degree in Statistics Mathematics Computer Science Economics Engineering or related field
5 years of relevant work experience in data analysis or related field
Proven Experience with Python PySpark SPSS and Apache Spark
Familiarity with data visualization tools (Apache Superset and Power BI)
Knowledge of database management systems (DBMS)
Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop Hive and Apache Spark)
Knowledge in multivariate statistics (regression principal components analysis clustering)
Proficiency in SQL
Strong understanding of statistical methods and techniques
Experience in data wrangling cleaning and preprocessing
Datadriven predictive model development experience
Ability to perform predictive and prescriptive analytics
Ability to present data insights to nontechnical stakeholders
Strong problemsolving and critical thinking skills
Demonstrated experience handling data projects from inception to completion
Good understanding of machine learning and AI techniques and tools
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
Certifications in data analytics tools or methodologies (optional but preferred)
