As a Speech Pathologist you will have the chance to work with both adults or children making a meaningful impact on their communication and swallowing needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients of varying ages.
- Provide evidencebased therapy and interventions for speech language and swallowing disorders.
- Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals including occupational therapists psychologists and physiotherapists to ensure holistic care for clients.
- Educate clients and their families about communication strategies and therapy goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in accordance with practice policies.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to a positive team culture.
Qualifications:
- A recognised degree in Speech Pathology.
- Current registration with the Speech Pathology Association of Australia (or equivalent).
- Experience working with both adults and children is preferred though new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and best practices.
