Job Description
Status: Part Time Hourly
FLSA Classification: NonExempt
Summary of Position:Family Based Mental Health Therapist works in a cotherapy team to provide intense time limited therapy to children and their families.
- Position holds induvial family parent and sibling therapy sessions as well as case management. Services are provided to children that are at risk of placement and need an intensive treatment modality.
- Position may require 23 evenings a week and crisis intervention as needed.
Availability Up to 40 hours a week (schedule and hours will be discussed at interview)
Possibility for full time hours
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelors in counseling therapy psychology social work sociology or related field of study positions available.
- Experience in therapy children services or in a mental health setting.
- Two years of experience or full time equivalent paid experience is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Cultural competence and a commitment to family preservation philosophy.
- Basic Computer Skills
- Reliable transportation valid drivers license and current automobile insurance coverage is required.
- BiLingual/Spanish Speaking is a plus.
