YOUR MISSION
Glovo is looking for a passionate proactive datadriven and handson professional to support our Data & Strategy department in our Madrid office. You will be providing both strategic thinking and analytical skills to help build 360 excellence in Business Strategy with focus into the Spanish market.
THE JOURNEY
- Understand the Business model in Glovo (incl. Operations Finance Commercial Growth and Ads) to provide advice to the different teams
- Contribute to the business discussion by suggesting different and novel analysis approaches
- Translate business queries into quantified & insightful reporting and KPIs to assess performance and determine the effectiveness of the implemented initiatives
- Ensure scalability of the reporting
- Own creation and structure of Business KPIs ensure they are properly implemented in the DDBB
- Define and design dashboards to give visibility to the topmanagement of the Business performance
- Follow a datadriven decisionmaking process
- Build robust relationships with stakeholders acting as a strategic and supportive link between analytics and business
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE
- Bachelor in Computer Science Maths/Physics Engineering
- 36 years of professional experience outside of an academic and internship setting
- Demonstrated proficiency in working with clean & optimized SQL querying mid to large volumes of data
- Consulting experience is a plus
- Python is a plus
- Good understanding of how to extract insights from Data Warehouses
- Ability to summarize and represent data (e.g descriptive statistics and graphs)
- Ability to create robust insightful and storytelling visualizations using modern BI & Analytics tools and ability to identify data Issues
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
- Comfortable working in a high growth and high performance company with a fast pace
- Itchy feet and continuous thrive on learning through different projects
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Understanding of A/B test principles in order to design conduct and analyze different experiments
