Job Description

About the opportunity:

Contribute positively to the community by leading our dayprogram operations empowering our customers and emphasising practice leadership to our staff team fostering open communication and a culture of cohesion.

We offer a permanent coordinator position with a $41.67/hr pay rate superannuation and salary packaging.

Role Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in social science health or any other relevant professional field is desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead manage and support a team of workers successfully
  • Demonstrated ability in budget preparation and monitoring financial systems
  • Welldeveloped time management skills and ability to prioritise workload
  • Strong interpersonal assessment and problemsolving skills
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Computer literacy in particular proficiency with Microsoft programs and the use of customer management systems
Typical duties might include:
  • Coordinating Dayprograms.
  • Delivering on program outcomes and customer goals.
  • Prioritising and meeting the competing needs of our customers and team of staff.
  • Nurturing and retaining relationships with customers families and your team.
  • Identifying assessing and resolving problems using an active personcentred approach
  • Proactively training the team to ensure the highest standard of customer outcomes.
  • Reviewing and updating rosters supporting Policy and Procedure compliance and reporting requirements

PreEmployment Requirements:

  • Valid working rights.
  • A current Drivers Licence and confidence to drive an accessible van.
  • NSW Working with Children Checks NSW.
  • NDIS Worker Check
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Health Assessment
