We are a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing highlevel professional services to our clients.

Westwoods Dallas/Fort Worth operation is searching for a Construction Inspector in our Frisco TX office with strong technical communication and interpersonal skills that works well in a fastpaced construction environment.

• Will conduct onsite observations of construction activities related to site infrastructure installation to serve residential and commercial developments.
  • Evaluating erosion control.
  • Observing site grading activities.
  • Observing utility construction activities such as water sanitary sewer and storm sewer installation.
  • Observing paving construction.
  • Reviewing testing reports.
  • Ensuring the contractors are constructing improvements in accordance to the City standards and specifications and construction plans
• Preparing weekly construction summary reports.
• Reviewing monthly contractor pay applications.

• Physically mobile in and around construction sites and field assignments
• Ability to carry equipment and supplies in remote rural or urban surroundings
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and walk long distances

• Prefer an individual with at least 4 years of experience in residential commercial and public works construction observation.
• Strong technical expertise as it relates to construction activities.
• Experience with Dallas/Fort Worth and surrounding municipalities standards and specifications.
• Must have the ability to read analyze and interpret construction plans.
• Must be familiar with grading utility paving construction as well as SWPPP management.
• Ability to utilize Microsoft Office products such as Xcel and Word to create weekly reports etc.
• Experience in reviewing pay applications.
