Job Description
Direct Medics is a leading healthcare recruitment specialist recruiting Allied Health Professionals of all bands and specialties for long and shortterm locum roles throughout the UK.
As such we are now recruiting on behalf of the South Eastern Trust for a Band 5 Estates Operations Supervisor/Team Lead to join the Estates Buildings team. The successful candidate will have a responsibility for the management of specific elements of Estate operations building and engineering maintenance teams throughout a sector of the Trusts Estate. As a maintenance supervisor the post holder will assist with managing a cost effective and efficient service that supports the corporate aims of the Trust to meet its aims of quality of service commensurate with a modern Health Service.
This Locum post will require full time cover 37.5hrs) and for a duration of 6 months initially. Salary starting from 18.18 per hour for the first 12 weeks and increasing to 18.87 per hour thereafter (includes holiday pay).
Requirements
Completion of a recognised and registered building/construction apprenticeship.
Must hold a relevant building/construction or other related subject qualification at QCF or NQF Level 3 (or higher) together with a minimum of 5 years relevant post apprenticeship experience*
Alternatively hold a BTEC Higher National Diploma/Higher National Certificate or equivalent in a building/construction or other related subject together with a minimum of 3 years relevant post apprenticeship experience*
Working knowledge and experience in the maintenance of complex building fabric engineering plant and equipment.
Carrying out directly or by contract repair replacement and renewal of Building fabric engineering plant equipment and services.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel and PowerPoint) and CAFM Systems
Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment.
