About the Role
As a Senior Shift Leader youll play a pivotal role in ensuring our manufacturing teams deliver excellence in performance safety and quality. Youll lead by example motivating your team to achieve and exceed key business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Health Safety and Quality:champion and uphold health and safety GMP and quality standards across the site.
- Team Management and Development: coach and guide the production team to achieve key manufacturing KPIs including quality RFT OTIF OEE and waste reduction.
- DecisionMaking:make informed independent decisions aligned with business goals.
- CrossDepartmental Collaboration:build effective partnerships between production and internal customers to meet current and future needs.
- Training and Development:identify skills gaps implement training plans and ensure the team is equipped to meet current and future needs.
- People Management:monitor and manage staff attendance performance and behaviour to maintain a productive and engaged team.
About You
Were looking for a dynamic leader who is passionate about team development and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will bring:
Experience:25 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment ideally within FMCG.
Education:a lean manufacturing qualification relevant degree or equivalent Alevel further education.
Technical Skills:proficiency in MS Office applications.
Communication Skills:strong interpersonal and written communication skills to engage effectively across all levels.
Analytical Thinking:proven problemsolving and datadriven decisionmaking abilities.
Organisational Skills:the ability to manage priorities set goals and allocate time effectively.
Coaching and Mentoring:a proactive approach to developing and motivating team members to excel.
