What Youll Do:
- Woodfire Grill Mastery: Prepare highquality food items specializing in woodfire grilling techniques according to recipes and production plans ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
- Flavorful Creations: Utilize whole food products efficiently minimizing waste and maximizing flavor with a focus on enhancing ingredients through woodfire cooking.
- Kitchen Cleanliness: Maintain a clean organized and sanitary work environment adhering to all food safety regulations.
- Proactive Communication: Alert the chef or supervisor promptly about any equipment malfunctions food overages or shortages.
- Inventory Management: Requisition inventory and receive supplies as needed for daily production.
- Proper Storage: Ensure proper storage of food items including wrapping dating and rotating products to maintain freshness and quality.
- Safe Practices: Adhere to all safe work practices and procedures especially those related to operating a woodfire grill.
What Youll Need:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 13 months of related experience in a professional kitchen ideally with experience in woodfire grilling or equivalent training. Were also willing to train enthusiastic individuals with a strong passion for food and a desire to learn the art of woodfire cooking!
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
- Food Safety and Sanitation Training/Certification.
