DescriptionAbout the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Product Manager to lead the strategy roadmap and of our data Mart. This Data Mart is critical to our organization data product with a wide variety of data typesstructured unstructured realtime and batchfrom diverse sources. The ideal candidate is a seasoned product leader with a proven track record of successfully delivering data products that meet and exceed user needs. This role requires a strong understanding of data engineering principles handson data engineering experience on cloud product management best practices and a passion for building highquality scalable and reliable data solutions.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities for Candidate :
- Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define and champion the product vision strategy and roadmap for the data ingestion platform. This includes collaboration with Product Owners and Stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Requirements Gathering & Prioritization: Elicit and prioritize requirements from stakeholders across the teams balancing business needs with technical feasibility and resource constraints. This includes actively engaging with data engineers data scientists and business users.
- Product Design & Development: Collaborate with Architects and data engineers to design develop and launch new features and improvements to the data ingestion platform. This includes creating detailed product specifications user stories and acceptance criteria.
- GotoMarket Strategy: Develop and execute gotomarket strategies for new features and platform updates.
- Product Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor platform performance user adoption and identify areas for improvement. This includes analyzing usage data from post launch conducting user surveys and gathering feedback.
- Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate product vision strategy and progress to stakeholders across the organization including executive leadership engineering and business units.
- Customer Discovery: Regularly engage with Pos and users to understand their needs pain points and expectations. This includes conducting user interviews surveys and usability testing.
- Product Discovery: Employ various product discovery techniques to identify and validate product opportunities.
- Leadership Reviews: Prepare and present regular product updates and performance reviews to leadership.
- Pulse Checks & Surveys: Conduct regular pulse checks and surveys to monitor user satisfaction and identify emerging issues.
QualificationsQualifications for Candidate:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Business Administration or a related field. Masters degree is a plus.
- 5 years of experience in product management with a focus on data products.
- Deep understanding of data ingestion principles technologies and best practices. Handson experience is a plus.
- Experience with various data types (structured unstructured realtime batch).
- Proven ability to define and execute product roadmaps.
- Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies. Experience on JIRA is a plus.
- Experience with data visualization (Looker Tableau) and analytics tools is a plus.
- Experience with cloudbased data platforms (AWS Azure GCP).
