Stateoftheart healthcare system is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Inpatient Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join their rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will support physical therapists in providing highquality care to patients recovering from surgeries injuries or illnesses in an inpatient setting. Physical Therapist Assistant
- Assist physical therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients with varying needs.
- Administer therapeutic exercises manual therapy techniques and modalities as directed by the supervising physical therapist.
- Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the physical therapist to support treatment plan adjustments.
- Educate patients and their families on exercises strategies and equipment to enhance recovery.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care progress notes and any incident reports in accordance with facility policies.
Physical Therapist AssistantQualifications:
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current PTA license (or eligible to obtain)
- Experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
- Compassionate approach to patient care and a strong commitment to teamwork.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and patient management purposes.
