Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate skilled and highly motivated APRN to join our dynamic urology team. This APRN will be responsible for providing highquality care to patients with a variety of urological conditions. You will work closely with our urologist and other healthcare professionals to diagnose treat and manage a wide range of urological issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with urological concerns
• Provide diagnosis treatment plans and management for patients with urological disorders (e.g. urinary tract infections kidney stones incontinence prostate issues etc.
• Perform diagnostic procedures such as catheter insertions bladder scans and other urological assessments as required
• Educate patients about urological health preventive care and treatment options
• Prescribe medications and treatments including managing prescriptions and adjusting dosages as necessary
• Collaborate with physicians specialists and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records and documentation
• Participate in patient care rounds and assist in the management of hospital admissions when applicable
• Provide preoperative and postoperative care including patient education and followup appointments
• Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives within the department

• Active RN licensure in Connecticut
• Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certification in Connecticut.
• Previous experience in urology or a related healthcare field is preferred but not required.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to independently manage patient care
• Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills
