Job Description
- Act as BaFinappointed Compliance officer for MaComp and MaRiskCompliance and Single Safeguarding Officer
- Develop implement and maintain robust compliance policies procedures controls and frameworks. Regularly review and update these to align with regulatory changes and industry best practices.
- Engage crossfunctionally as well as with internal and external auditors to implement a bestinclass compliance management program in line with regulatory standards and industry best practices
- Coordinate compliancerelated projects with internal teams and external partners. Lead the development and enhancement of compliance processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Act as advisor and strategic partner to senior management providing expert compliance insights and guidance to support decisionmaking and drive the organizations strategic initiatives.
- Provide strategic leadership management and guidance to the Compliance team. Foster a culture of operational excellence continuous improvement and collaboration. Mentor and develop team members to achieve their professional goals.
Qualifications :
- University degree in law business administration or any related field
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable role in the financial services industry
- Indepth knowledge of applicable laws and regulations such as MiFID 2 WpHG KWG MaComp and MaRisk etc
- Adequate leadership experience
- Excellent stakeholder management leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively
- Ability to navigate in a fastpaced environment and to apply a pragmatic riskbased approach
- Business fluency in German and English
