Senior SSRSBO Developer

Job Summary:

We are looking for SSRS/Business Objects (BO) developer to join our team! In this position you will be responsible for creating updating and deploying SSRS and BO reports to support our customers and products. You should be able to manage data interpret data and recommend best approach for report development and deployment.

This developers position necessitates understanding of databases data flow embedded queries stored procedures report deployment and more. Strong communication organizational and analytical abilities are required.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

• Designs and develops reports using SSRS to fully satisfy customer expectations. The reports must be robust and maintainable properly organized clean and consistent according to company standards.

• Work closely with various stakeholders including business analysts project managers and data scientists to understand their data needs and deliver solutions that meet them.

• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of the data presented in the dashboards and reports. This involves validating the data and implementing quality checks.

• Troubleshoot datarelated issues and maintain the SSRS/BusinessObjects infrastructure to ensure its uptodate and running smoothly.

• Stay updated with the latest features updates and best practices to leverage them effectively.

• Understand the business requirements designing the reports as well as maintaining and deploying the reports.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully an individual must meet expectations of each essential duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skills and abilities required.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelors degree in computer science/engineering

EXPERIENCE

• 3 years of experience in IT

• 2 years of experience in SSRS/BI report development

• 2 years of experience in SQL and Power BI

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge in SAP Business Objects will be added advantage

• Experience with Azure Data Services or any cloud platform is a plus

• Experience supporting report development to support multiple languages is a plus

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE AND/OR ABILITIES:

• Experience in relational and multidimensional database architectures.

• Proficient in creating SSRS or BusinessObjects reports and dashboards with a strong understanding of data visualization best practices.

• Experience in SSRS report manager and BI report deployment dashboards and datasets are mandatory

• Solid experience with embedded queries and stored procedures

• Proficient with multiple table and database joins

• Experience creating linked and sub reports

• Experience with source control

• Take an analytical and visual approach to translate data into informative reports.

• Monitors and assists with technical tickets related to data and reporting request.

• Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.

• Good communication skills to be able to discuss and deliver requirements effectively with business users.

• Flexibility to work overtime or weekends in order to meet target dates.

• Prepare documentation for further reference.
