Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is currently seeking a fulltime Student Behavioral Coachto add to our team of professionals. This position will work on our SchoolBased Services team in the Child & Family Services Behavioral Coaches provide school and communitybased case management skills training/development and other services to children and their familiesthroughout our assigned counties in southwestern Indiana including Vanderburgh Posey Gibson and Warrick.

WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Provide school and communitybased case management skills training/development and other services to children and their families.
  • Workwith children and their families referred from the school as well as the Department of Child Services Juvenile Probation System of Care Southwestern assessment team and therapists and other referral sources.
  • Maintain appropriate records of services to reflect patient progress and document treatment plans and goals.
  • Maintain documentation and submit reports according to established time frames.
  • Communicate professionally make referrals and coordinate services with community agencies.

WHATS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION

  • Applicants must have aBachelors degree in Social Work Psychology Sociology Criminal Justice or other closely related field.
  • Candidates must possess interest and ability to work with children with serious emotional problems and work well in a team setting.
  • Previous direct services with children or related experience are preferred.
  • Candidates must possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Must have valid drivers license auto insurance that meets the Indiana State minimum coverage requirementand qualify for Companys vehicle liability insurance.
  • Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks fingerprinting CPS check sex offender registry check and drug screen.
