Job Description

Adelphi is seeking a certified Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to support visually impaired students within Los Fresnos Texas. The ideal candidate will assess visual functioning adapt materials and support student access to the general curriculum.

Bachelor s or Master s in Special Education or related field

Responsibilities:

Provide direct instruction to students with visual impairments

Conduct functional vision and learning media assessments

Adapt curriculum materials for accessibility

Assist in IEP development and implementation

Consult with classroom teachers and support staff

Train school personnel in strategies for visual accommodations

Other duties as assigned by the administration
