The Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Principal Consultants who will be part of our EIA Property team and work closely with all internal teams and clients and project design teams.

The successful candidate will be an experienced EIA project manager coordinating and delivering EIAs and ES Reviews for a range of brownfield and greenfield EIA property developments across the capital and South of England. The applicant will need to be client focused with a positive and proactive attitude have excellent communication skills and be happy to work as part of a team.

They should have a thorough knowledge of EIA including guidelines and the planning process and a proven track record of managing and leading multidisciplinary teams for the production of the EIAs on time and on budget.

They will also be expected to have excellent project management report writing and client liaison skills with a keen eye for detail and a positive attitude towards business development.

They should be experienced in managing performance providing technical assurance and managing resources relevant to projects.

Responsibilities will include the coordination and preparation of a variety of EIA projects including the technical review of ES Chapters financial management preparation of fee proposals management of the ES Review process and be expected to assist with the training / mentoring of junior members of the team.

We offer flexible hybrid working and would consider candidates across our other locations.

The Candidate

We expect the successful Principal candidates will:

  • Have 7 years of client facing consulting experience.
  • Project delivery experience with a strong work ethic able to be organised flexible and motivated.
  • Demonstrable experience project managing for large and interesting urban regeneration schemes.
  • Be experienced in brownfield regeneration mixedused housing greenfield development and housing scheme developments for developers.
  • Experience in undertaking ES reviews and coordinating local authority frameworks.
  • Demonstrable experience with bid writing for property and EIA projects.
  • Have a degree of experience in people management (performance training and progression).
  • Be confident show initiative be enthusiastic and outgoing with excellent interpersonal and communication skills having the ability to liaise at all levels.
  • Hold a relevant environmental degree level qualification.
  • Have project management and people management experience.
  • Have excellent report writing skills.
  • Bring energy and enthusiasm with attention to detail and a creative approach to problem solving.
