In this role youll be at the center of driving AWSs sales strategy partnering directly with the US State & Local Government (SLG)/ Education (EDU) teams to manage optimize and transform the investment portfolio. Youll collaborate with senior Sales Operations and Finance leaders to build financial plans analyze largescale investment opportunities develop new gotomarket strategies and identify opportunities for business growth. You will play key roles in both running the daytoday business and helping drive strategic growth for the future.
Key job responsibilities
Serve as a key finance partner to the US State & Local Government (SLG)/ Education (EDU) teams collaborating across executive leadership to analyze inputs and outputs assess business performance and optimize asset allocation.
Develop and evolve complex financial models that analyze program and portfoliolevel revenue profit and ROI impacts.
Build rhythm of the business processes that deliver ongoing insights and support daytoday decision making.
Engage and influence across the AWS Sales Finance and Operations hierarchy collaborating with stakeholders to optimize our customers experience achieve common goals and monitor risks.
Monitor compliance with controls and systems and develop new processes and controls as needed to support internal and external financial reporting requirements.
3 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
Bachelors degree in finance accounting business economics or a related analytical field (e.g. engineering math computer science)
4 years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
MBA or CPA
Knowledge of Tableau
Experience working with largescale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)
