Job Description

COMPANY PROFILE:
Soccer Shots is the leader in youth soccer development. Our nationally recognized program offers a high energy fun ageappropriate introduction to the wonderful game of soccer. Our innovative curriculum emphasizes both soccer skills and character development. Our goal is simple: to leave a lasting positive impact on every child we serve.
SOCCER SHOTS COUS:
Soccer Shots COUS (Company Owned Units) was established in 2010. COUS covers the regions of DC Maryland Northern Virginia Miami New York City Central NY and Nashville TN.

Soccer Shots New York City stretches from Brooklyn to Manhattan. Our team consists of three fulltime staff and about 25 parttime coaches. We are looking for our next staff member to join the fulltime team!

COMPENSATION: $37440 annually $18 per hour eligible for overtime)

OBJECTIVES: As the face of Soccer Shots our success is nationally recognized and locally respected. Our brand is dependent on the exemplary performance of our team. It is the FullTime Coachs responsibility to manage and direct all duties related to the operation of a Soccer Shots session and promotion of the seasons including but not limited to the tasks listed below.

Program
  • Coaching a minimum of 30 sessions per week during Winter/Spring/Summer/Fall seasons are included in the position requirement and compensation.
  • Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of every child.
  • Conducting highenergy fun organized Soccer Shots sessions.
  • Following proper weekly Soccer Shots lesson plan.
  • Train coaches onsite and update team on progress.
  • Evaluate instructors. Submit these evaluations online and communicate with coach within 2448 hours of the evaluation.
  • Attending coaches meetings and training.
  • Maintaining equipment set in proper condition.
  • Arrive Early. OnTime is late: This means getting to your site at least 1015 (schools) and 1520 (parks) minutes early so you are set up and children are on the field at scheduled start time.
  • Update attendance records daily within 24 hours of end of class times. Communicate with team of any issues additions etc.
  • Boost enrollment at sites using guest passes.
  • Maintain and record weekly schedule as directed by supervisor
Marketing and Communications:
  • Distribution of seasonal marketing materials for Soccer Shots programs. Seasonal drop offs for registrations final reminders and public program marketing material etc.
  • Enhance relationships with directors and parents. Communicate courteously with site directors teachers and parents. Engage in conversation and small talk. Always smile and be positive when representing our brand.
  • Running program demos/open houses/back to school nights at partner sites public programs and other Soccer Shots events.
  • Assisting with direct mail preparation and distribution promoting park programs.
Working Hours/Location/Schedule:
The job description above is a fulltime nonexempt (overtime eligible) position requiring 40 hours of work per week. Weekend shifts are required. Your weekly agenda will be assigned by the Executive Director. You will work out your schedule details with your supervisor.

Physical/work Environment Requirements: This position functions in an inside/outside sports environment over 90 of the time. Work requires the ability to run stop stoop bend (a physical exercise type regimen) in a minimum of 40minute increments per session. The position requires use of hands arms legs and feet as well as excellent vision skills (with or without correction) and may include lifting up to 50 pounds on occasion. Moderate gymnasiumlike noises are associated with this position.
Compensation: $37440.00 per year
