Job Description

Position Overview:As a Business Development Representative (BDR) you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of Trellis. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities building relationships with potential clients and generating leads to support our sales team. The ideal candidate is a selfstarter with a passion for technology and a strong desire to succeed in a fastpaced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and research potential clients through various channels including social media networking events and industry conferences.
  • Initiate outbound calls and emails to engage prospects and introduce Gotrellis solutions.
  • Qualify leads and schedule meetings for the sales team.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients and track all interactions in our CRM system.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and strategies for lead generation.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and represent Trellis.
  • Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams based on client interactions and market trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in business marketing or a related field.
  • 12 years of experience in sales business development or a related role (preferably in a technology or SaaS environment).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with prospects.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and sales tools (experience with HubSpot is a plus).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • A positive attitude and a passion for learning and growing in the field.
