Job Description
In a nutshell
As a Software Engineer you will join a Scrum team of seven developers and testers where your strong communication skills team spirit and collaborative mindset will be essential to your success. Your daily responsibilities will involve designing developing testing building automating deployments documenting and troubleshooting various functional and nonfunctional requirements for software applications and services.
How can you help us
- You will ensure highquality software development by writing clean efficient and maintainable code that adheres to best practices and team coding standards. Through active participation in code reviews pair programming and mob programming sessions you will contribute to the continuous improvement of your teams technical expertise. Additionally you will focus on debugging and troubleshooting software issues ensuring security performance and stability while also implementing and integrating APIs libraries and services as required.
- Embracing an Agile mindset you will work within the Scrum framework participating in sprint planning daily standups and retrospectives. You will also engage in Agile and DevOps methodologies such as Extreme Programming CI/CD and BDD. Your curiosity and enthusiasm for technology will drive you to stay up to date with emerging trends and best practices helping you to continuously enhance your skills and contribute to the teams overall innovation and success.
- Beyond development tasks you will provide regular updates to the Team Manager ensuring transparency and alignment with project goals. You will quickly familiarize yourself with the Eurofins EurIS systems starting with ComLIMSQuotation understanding its underlying concepts models and team workflows. As you gain deeper knowledge you will focus on the most critical aspects of your assigned responsibilities. Additionally your ability to build strong relationships with both IT and nonIT stakeholders will play a key role in fostering effective collaboration across teams.

- To be successful in this role you should have a strong background in software development backed by a degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- Your experience as a Software Engineer has provided you with a solid understanding of both backend and frontend development. Proficiency in C# and .NET (Core or Framework) is essential alongside experience in JavaScript or TypeScript UI development with frameworks such as Angular React or .
- You should have a good grasp of data structures algorithms and objectoriented programming principles as well as experience working with relational databases like SQL Server PostgreSQL or Oracle. Your familiarity with version control systems such as Git along with collaboration tools like Azure DevOps or JIRA will help you integrate seamlessly into the team.
- A problemsolving mindset strong analytical skills and attention to detail are crucial in this role. You should be proactive in learning and selfimprovement continuously seeking ways to refine your skills. Effective communication is key as you will be working closely with team members and stakeholders in an international environment.
- Fluency in English is required and a good conversational level in Vietnamese will be beneficial for local communication.
- Additional experience with cloud platforms DevOps practices CI/CD pipelines containerization tools and testfirst development approaches such as TDD and BDD will be highly valued.
- Familiarity with Clean Code principles refactoring and Agile methodologies will further enhance your ability to thrive in this role.
- Any knowledge of UML modeling ORM frameworks like Entity Framework or frontend technologies like HTML and CSS will be an advantage. Finally conversational proficiency in Mandarin or French will be appreciated in a multilingual workplace.
