Are you an Economics & Business Studies teacher passionate about inspiring students
We are looking for a Teacher of Economics & Business Studies to join a highperforming secondary school in Hounslow from September 2025. This is a great opportunity to be part of a supportive department delivering engaging lessons that help students prepare for future success.
Teacher of Economics & Business Studies Role & Responsibilities:
- Teach Economics & Business Studies across KS4 and KS5 maintaining high academic standards.
- Track and assess student progress using data to guide teaching methods.
- Plan and deliver wellstructured lessons in line with curriculum requirements.
- Provide additional support for underachieving students through interventions and mentoring.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities including businessrelated clubs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching approaches.
- Maintain high standards of student behaviour and engagement.
Teacher of Economics & Business Studies Requirements:
- QTS (or equivalent) and a degree in Economics Business Studies or a related subject.
- Experience teaching Economics & Business Studies at KS4 and KS5 with proven strong outcomes.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for engaging and inspiring students.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills with a focus on student progress.
- A commitment to high standards and creating a positive learning environment.
